I’m currently working as Research Assistant on a project run jointly by the Sheffield Institute for International Development (SIID, the University of Sheffield) and the Global Development Institute (GDI, University of Manchester).
The project is seeking to provide an overview of the structure, networks and foci of the UK international development NGO (INGO) sector.
On June 15 we participated in the Small Charities International Development Debate at the House of Lords in London, as part of the FSI’s Small Charity Week. Professor David Hulme (GDI) presented the latest findings from the project, in response to the moot: The future of international aid: will small international development charities survive?
Here’s a blog post I wrote, recapping the day.
